Shootout thriller! Proline FC edge CATDA to win KRL title, one step closer to Big League return.

The Kamoala Regional League final turned into a stage for two strikers to showcase their talents.

Proline’s Paul Kiradha emerged as the hero for the first half, rising above the CATDA defense to head home a pinpoint cross from Paul Nkuubi in the 63rd minute.

However, CATDA’s lethal striker Hudson Mbalire wasn’t done yet.

He capitalized on a defensive error between Proline’s goalkeeper Musa Semakula and left-back Sulaiman Mutyaba in the 75th minute, coolly slotting home his 19th goal of the season and restoring parity for his side.

With the game ending 1-1, the championship was decided by a penalty shootout, which Proline eventually won 7-6.
