Olympics bound Bombers receive financial boost from African Chocolate Company

The chairman Zzana Boxing club and CEO African Chocolate Company Stephen Sembuya has extended support to the Uganda Bombers Olympians with a financial support of Shs 2 Million for preparations.

The development was confirmed at a press briefing held at African Chocolate company offices in Kyanja on Friday afternoon.

Shadir Musa (Bombers skipper), Catherine Nanziiri and David Semujju are the three boxers who will represent Uganda at the 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo.

“I call upon more companies to come out and support these people. This is not about politics its about supporting our Boxers who will be representing our team at the Olympic games.”

He said

We all know that our Boxers are always hailed by the government whenever they win medals yet they need a lot of support.”

Through the company, we have donated Shs 2M to our Olympians to help them in preparations and we wish them well.”

Sembuya gave a financial support of Shs500,000 to Hellen Baleke

Following the documentary, I saw one YouTube basing on Baleke, I was so touched on how she was struggling and I decided to give her a financial support to help her.”

He also gave Isaac Masembe Shs500,000 for his remarkable performances at the All Africa games.

Sembuya through African Chocolate company pledged to give each boxer who will win gold at Olympics Shs3M, Shs2M for Silver and Shs1M for Bronze.

African Chocolate Company formerly Pink Foods industries also supported Professional Boxers with cash Shs250,000 each Shafik Kiwanuka, Ratib Muwonge and Aldina Muzei
