NBL Action continues with Betway Power taking on KIU Titans

By: Nacho Black Armo

Betway Power will have to fight back to erase their 2 back to back losses against UCU canons and Sharing youths who bettered them in points difference to night 20:00 at YMCA.

Power plays KIU Titans who have won 15 and lost 6 of their 21 played games and look good as the regular season is fading.

Titans who also sit at the top of the table will want to use Power’s poor run to pick a positive result and raise high their playoffs chances.

However, KIU goes into the game with not too sweet history in their first round encounter with Betway Power.

64-56 was the score in favor of Power with Micheal Mikiadi scoring 20 points while Paul Odong scored 13 leading 21-13 in the first quarter.

KIU Titans’ Micheal Bwanga scored 15 points , the highest for his side on the day while Chris Basheke scored 13 as they seemed to give KIU hopes in the game especially at half time leading 32-30.

Power went on chasing shadows trailing 43-48 in the 3rd quarter but pulled back as Micheal Mikiadi striked with a 3 pointer jump shot, an offensive rebound and a 2 jump shot in space of a minute and a half as they picked rhythm and went on to win it 64-56.
