Onduparaka FC will start their 2021/22 campaign against army side UPDF FC at the Green light stadium in Arua.
The Caterpillars last season had one of their worst seasons in the league and they will aspire to start on a high in a bid to better what they achieved last season.
The two sides are under new coaches with Onduparaka FC being coached by George Lutalo after replacing Joseph Mutyaba.
Brian Ssenyondo is Kefa Kisala’s replacement at the Army side.
In the absence of Lutalo engaged with the Crested Cranes his assistants Juma Sekiziyivu and Luis Kizito will be in the dug out.
The home side will look on Muhammad Shaban, Micheal Kagiri, Rashid Agau and Dudu Ramathan to inspire them to victory as James Jarieko and Mansoor Safi are to be subjected to late fitness test.
Defender Shaban Wasswa and Augustine Akoch having joined the Army side in the last transfer window will be facing his former pay masters.
Ibrahim Wammanah, James Begesa, captain Denis Ssekitoleko and Simon Mbazira are expected to lead the Army side to victory.
The last three meetings both sides have met Onduparaka has won twice and the other tie ending in a stalemate.
