FIBA 3X3 Africa Cup set to kick off

Togo for the first time in their history host the FIBA 3X3 Africa Cup from 3rd to 5th of November 2017.

The 10 women teams were grouped in pool A and B each comprising of 5 teams where the top two teams from each group will directly face off in semi finals.

Among Men , the first two teams from the four groups will will qualify for the knock out stage which will start with the quarter final stage and later proceed to semis before the final game.

Uganda look to be the favourites in the women category having had a great experience at the 2014 3X3 as well as being part of the FIBA 3X3 Fast Track Program.

No team in the Men’s category has had more Exposure than Egypt in 3X3. Egypt is the only African team to participate at the FIBA 3X3 Word cup taking part in 3 editions, 2012, 2016 and 2017.
