Davis Kasirye joins Zambian giants ZESCO United

Ugandan striker Kasirye Davis has penned a two year contract to join Zesco United this comes after parting ways with Motema Pembe of Democratic Republic of Congo a season back

Kasirye has also played for Ugandan sides Police FC,URA FC, BUL FC and Rayon Sport of Rwanda.

He joins ZESCO who are five times Zambia Premier league champions. ZESCO United were last year’s CAF Champions League semi finalists having lost to eventual champions Mamelodi Sundowns on a 3-2 aggregate score.

Kasirye will be playing in a 49800 capacity stadium Levy Mwanawasa based in Ndola and has joined fellow Ugandans currently playing their professional football in Zambia Joseph Ochaya and Herman Waswa Nteza at Lusaka Dynamos and Isaac Isinde at Buildcon Fc.

He also joins Kenyans David “Calabar” Owino,
Anthony Akumu and former Tusker striker Jese Jackson Were as other East Africans at Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation United Football club.
